Standing Committee on Training and Judicial Documentation
The Standing Committee on Training and Judicial Documentation is responsible for reviewing, providing recommendations, and drafting documents in the field of training and judicial documentation, particularly in relation to:
a. Professional training of judges and prosecutors, as well as oversight and advising of the entity training centres and the Judicial Commission of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the adoption and implementation of professional training programs for judges and prosecutors;
b. Establishing cooperation with public law faculties and ministries responsible for higher education with the aim of improving curricula;
c. Determining the minimum and maximum levels of professional training for judges and prosecutors on an annual basis;
d. Defining the scope and supervision of the implementation of initial training for newly appointed judges or prosecutors;
e. Approving the annual reports of the steering boards of the entity training centres and the Judicial Commission of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
f. Collecting, processing, storing, publishing judicial decisions and other relevant documents, and deciding on access to the judicial decisions database maintained by the Department for Judicial Documentation and Training.
