    Evaluation of the Work Performance of Judicial Office Holders

    The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH), pursuant to Article 17, item (22) of the Law on the HJPC BiH, establishes the criteria for evaluating the performance of judges and prosecutors.
    The criteria for evaluating the work of judicial office holders in Bosnia and Herzegovina define the method of assessing their performance, the keeping of records on their achieved work results and absences from work, the elements and procedures for determining performance ratings, as well as other matters relevant to the evaluation of work performance.
    The evaluation process is conducted in order to objectively and impartially determine how successfully the judicial office holders performed their duties during the evaluation period.
    The performance ratings of judicial office holders are used in the process of appointment to other positions within judicial institutions, or when assessing their competence, suitability, and professional qualifications for advancement within the judicial system.
    The data collected during the evaluation process are used by the committees, working groups, and other bodies of the HJPC BiH.
